Part of the fun of Karaoke is going to different bars and checking out new venues. Sometimes the KJ is great, sometimes not. Sometimes the bar is roomy and spacious, sometimes its a complete and total DIVE (is it safe to go in there?). But sometimes you find that hidden gem that becomes your new "regular" hot spot. My friends and I call this search for the new hot spot "Karaoke Adventures."

Having been doing this for a while, I've found some great karaoke bars in the Dundalk area, and here they are:

Merritt House

Jim, Danny, and Chrissy run the absolute best karaoke around (they've been doing it for years), and Merritt House has karaoke Thursday through Sunday! The only problem is the singer list can get overly long during the night and it can take over an hour between songs! Arrrghh! Hey, that's the price you pay for being good, everybody wants you.

Thursday nights with Steve's Out of the Cellar Karaoke. Steve probably has the biggest karaoke library around (He's got you favorite track, if only he can find it!), and a great system too. I'm there Sunday night! YOWZA! A hidden gem.

I've not had the chance to go here yet, but I've seen Jack at other places and he's great (and yes, he's a complete loon). Jack does a live puppet show, to karaoke, sometime during the night. You WILL laugh your ass off. Go see him!
